Cortney Ayers is Head of Operations at Sanctuary, where she oversees the day-to-day activities of the agency and ensures new business development, strategy, client delivery, and business administration are aligned and operating effectively. She works across functions to translate vision into execution, building the systems and clarity teams need to do their best work.

Cortney joined Sanctuary as a strategist and has grown alongside the agency over the past decade, bringing firsthand experience from strategy, client delivery, and being part of the leadership team into her work as Head of Operations.

Cortney is is deeply invested in people and helping businesses and individuals meet their goals. Known for her organization, resourcefulness, and commitment to excellence, Cortney brings clarity and structure to complex challenges while keeping people at the center of the work.

Cortney began her marketing career at Aultman Hospital, where she helped pioneer social media efforts and contributed to commercial production, website development, and content strategy. That early experience shaped her appreciation for thoughtful storytelling, strong systems, and cross-functional collaboration.

Outside of work, Cortney is a wife to Patrick, mom to Harvey and Penelope, and dog mom to Millie. She uses the kitchen as a creative outlet, experimenting with baking, cooking, and ice-cream-making recipes whenever she can. Cortney serves on the livestream ministry team at her church and volunteers with local nonprofits, giving back to the community she grew up in, works in, and now calls home with her family.
